Myton Hospices Gala - 1st April 2023

The Club’s final charity gala of their 2022/3 season, this one saw twelve teams raising funds for Myton Hospices.

A perfect start saw ‘Car Park Full’ with eleven points, one ahead of ‘Fannys Fantom Flan Flingers’ and ‘Fools Gold’ in joint second. Fourth place on nine points were ‘Goldilocks and the Three Bears’, a point clear of fifth place ‘The Newbies’. Heading into the break ‘Car Park Full’ extended their to two points over ‘Fannys Fantom Flan Flingers’, who in turn had opened a one point lead over ‘Fools Gold’. Three points back in fourth spot were ‘Beginners Luck’ with ‘Goldilocks and the Three Bears’ three points further back in fifth.

​With all games completed ‘Car Park Full’ (Ray Dawson, Carol Ryan, Bryan Tompkins and Michael Jackson) secured top spot with thirty points, ‘Fannys Fantom Flan Flingers’ had to settle for second place, three points behind of the top. Twenty three points helped ‘Goldilocks and the Three Bears’ move into third place, two points ahead of ‘Fools Gold’ in fourth with ‘Daves Angels’ a further two points back in fifth.
