Air Ambulance Barn Dance

​Thornfield has a proud history of supporting charities, recently we hosted a barn dance supporting Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance. Here is the report by event organiser (and Thornfield member) Mandy Dahlgren who was rescued by the air ambulance in 2011.

I am very proud to announce that this night was a great success and we raised  a great amount of £506.05.  This was my first barn dance having had 4 or 5 disco/party nights and was very pleased that nearly everyone who attended came up and asked me if I would hold another one as they had enjoyed it so much so watch this space.

Ian Whitehead our professional caller did a great job encouraging everyone to get up and dance and talked us through all the moves and some fun was had by all. We would also like to thank Thornfield for the room and to Planet Ice Skydome Coventry for donating a voucher for a family of 4 for ice skating and boot hire which helped build hte amount raised in our mini auction

It is an honor helping to raise money for this great charity, giving something back and helping the helicopter stay in the skies saving lives..................
