Halloween Gala 2014

Beings from the underworld filed through the doors as the club held it's annual Halloween Gala, 14 teams of spooks, ghouls and other strange beings contested the title over four rounds of six ends.

After the first round of games were completed “Wereworking On That” led the way with 8 points, “Ian & the 3 Masons” and “Living Dead Enders” both had 7 points while “E-Bowla”, “Oddbods” and “Misfits” were a point further back. Heading into the half-time break the joint leaders on 15 points were “Wereworking On That” and “Living Dead Enders” with “Ian & the 3 Masons” close behind on 14 points. “The Horny Devils” (12 points), “Speckled Hen”, “Bobcats”, “E-Bowla” and “Oddbods” (all 9 points) completed the leading pack.

“Living Dead Enders” opened up a substantial lead of five shots ove second place “The Horny Devils” with only one set of games to play. Third place on 17 points was “E-Bowla” with “Bobcats”, “Ian & the 3 Masons” and “Wereworking on That” joint fourth. With all the spells cast and the spirits satisfied and laid to rest the top spooks were “Living Dead Enders” (Mandy Dahlgren, Keith Foster, Pat Dahlgren and Pat Bax) on 29 points. “Wereworking on That” a distant second with 23 points, third place with 21 points was “Speckled Hen”, while completing the top pack in joint fourth (20 points) were “E-Bowla”, “The Horny Devils” and “Cobblers”.
