Maximum of 16 teams, £10 per team (£7 for rink fees, £3 goes to prize money). Each team will play 5 games of 4 ends.
The first round is drawn, this is then followed by matching the result so that winners play together and the losers play together over the next 4 rounds. Over the 5 rounds there can only be one team that can win all 5 games.
Results will be based on ends won which therefore allow teams to win, lose or draw. At the end of the game one point is a point is given for every end won, so a team can gain 0 to 4 points. After the five rounds the team with the most points win two-thirds of the prize money, the team finishing second gets one-third of the prize money. In the case of multiple teams with the same number of points the prize money will be shared between those teams.
